First off I'll tell you NOT to, as that is a primary chemical process in bomb making, and the process is prohibited by Federal Law.

This is not an easy task to undertake. You will need some chemicals and a laboratory to do so. You can visit your local library for a book telling you how.

We can use stump remover. Dissolve the fertilizers into water and boil it till it become crystallizes. Then broke the crystals and dissolve it in water and filter it. After filtration we can see better result of extracting nitrates.
