What can you tell me about cat health and pinworms?

Unlike people,cats don't get pin worms. Most likely it is tapeworm segments that you are seeing. You would need to take your cat to the vet and have it wormed.

Pinworms aren't good for your cat's health because they deprive the cat of necessary food nutrients. Worms are easily treated with tablets or liquids, and they aren't at all expensive - get your cat treated as soon as possible.

If you get your cat it's shots regularly and have it dewormed every couple of years, your cat will not get pinworms, or any other type of worms for that matter.

The cat's health should be in good exceptions, if the cat is not in a healthy state, then a vet need to check for all types of worms including pinworms, these worms can put your pet at risk
