What can you tell me about Bronx family court?

The Court hears matters related to family: adoption, divorce, custody, child support, domestic abuse and the like. There are several judges to handle the enormous docket. The Bronx Family Court is much the same as any other.

Bronx Family Court hears all cases that have to do with children and families, including foster care, paternity, custody, abuse, domestic violence, etc. Several judges hear cases and rule based on state laws. It's not much different than any other family court except that it is quite busy and has a huge staff that includes a vast array of interpreters.

The court is located at 900 Sheridan Ave at the corner of 161 Street. It has several judges who hear cases related to family matters like divorce, custody/support, adoption, etc.
