What can you tell me about an August Beauty Gardenia and the care of it?

It's a large flower with nice fragrant and velvety white petals. It's very beautiful in cut flower arrangements. It's botanical name is gar-DEEN-ee-uh jas-min-NOY-deez. It'll grow up to 5 ft tall and 3 ft wide. This evergreen flower needs constantly moist soil. Plant in full sun and water well for the first year. After bloom feed with an acid fertilizer.

These plants have beautiful blooms once you get them to flower I know you have to feed the plants but i'm not sure what your greenhouse would know.

Provide acid soil and slow release acid fertilizer, a raised bed or container and shade if you live in zne 7 or higher. Clip in the early spring to shape.

They are pretty basic to care for the biggest thing with them is make sure they do not get too much sun they cannot take it.

you should fertilize yours every two weeks with acid plant fertilizer at about half to full strenght acid. Sometimes you should give it epsom salts to make it grow better.
