If you are really getting tootaches all the time, then you should really visit a dentist as soon as possible. There might be some serious infection. Meanwhile cool the area with by putting some ice and drinking cold water. Get yourself painkillers from the drugstore, but make it clear that you need them against toothache (there special ones).

The only way to stop toothaches is to fix what is causing them or have the tooth removed. That requires a trip to a dentist. There are home remedies and over-the-counter products that might help relieve the pain, but they just mask the problem. Untreated they can lead to infection. Untreated infections can cause serious health issues, even death.

Aspirin or Tylenol are pretty effective against toothaches in the short term. But a toothache is an indication that there is something wrong with the tooth. Only a trip to the dentist will bring permanent relief. An infected cavity or a chipped tooth can cause the pain but will need to be treated by a dentist.

of course you should see your dentist and have the CAUSe of the toothache treated. clove oil (available at the pharmacy desk) helps numb nerves. dentists use it befor sticking you with needles. some herbs are natural anesthetics such as oregano and Cayenne pepper.
