What can you do if you hate your in-laws?

I just really hate my in-laws.

Other than getting divorced, you could spend a little time as possible with them. Even staying home if the husband and kids go to visit.

I guess it all depends on how often you have to see them. Of course your wife loves them, so just smile and nod. And another thing, I would treat your wife like a princess, word will get back to them, and hopefully they will be kind to you, and you will learn to love them.

Try to stay away from them as much as possible. Let your spouse deal with them on most issues. Limit the number of holidays or family events you need to attend. And when you attend, try to take some valium or anti anxiety medication. This will help you.

Whether or not you like or dislike your in-laws, they are still your spouse's parents. They are going to be in your life for a long time and you will have to find a way to co-exist. You don't have to be their friend, just respectful to them.
