You definitely can. They say the closest thing to love is actually hate. Being indifferent is the worst because then you really don't care about someone. The actions of someone you care deeply about, like this person, will affect you in a huge way ebcause of how much you care.

Sometimes its the oppistes that attract. Remember that attraction is defined by the individual. If you truley feel strong towards this person, you can overcome the differences. Love conquers all.
