What can I do with a child who is bored in kindergarten?

You may want to discuss the matter with his/her teacher. Also talk to the guidance counselor as your child may need an advanced curriculum. Look for other schools in the area that offer a more varied teaching method.

1. Ask the teacher to provide more supplemental material. 2. Have your child read more before and after school, so that they can then read on their own when done with school work instead of being bored. 3. Find out if the teacher is teaching to the slowest child in the class instead of a medium and fair rate.

ADD and such problems are becoming more and more rampant as time progresses, and we usually see it most often in our children. If they are showing remarkable improvements in school, consider talking to his teacher about bumping them up a grade. Give them an energetic activity. A drum set (a base and a snare will do fine).
