Start exercising, including lifting heavy weights mixed with some cardio. This applies whether you are male or female: heavy weights on full body exercises (don't just focus on the upper part of the body - work those legs as well) and running or bicycling will prevent or reduce that bloat.

When I quit smoking I upped my water intake an that kept me from getting bloated. I know that sounds weird but water will flush your system and you will loose the excess fluid that causes bloat.

The best way to prevent bloating after quitting smoking is exercise. Make sure you are getting plenty, especially cardio. Also be sure to drink plenty of water. Do your best not to replace cigarette addiction with food addiction.

Eating a healthy diet and encouraging your body to stop craving sugar will also help you stop smoking and healthy eating, especially low or no sugar will help with weight.

Make sure that you diet and exercise in order to prevent bloat and weight gain. A lot of times people will eat a snack instead of having a cigarette and end up gaining a bunch of weight. Keep up with your new found health plan and you should be able to keep the bloat away!

Drink plenty of liquids, especially water, that will help to flush out your system. You can also try a supplement such as Acai Berry, but be sure to ask your doctor first.
