If after increasing your fiber intake, increasing your fluid intake and increasing your activity level, and using over the counter hemorrhoid treatments, you should consult your physician.

If over the counter treatments aren't working then it's time to see a physician. Prolonged untreated hemorrhoids can lead to bowl death as well as a host of other problems.

Hemorrhoids are not life-threatening but as you may or may not have already. The worst part is that hemorrhoids usually don't go away. as per advise you can take aloe or petroleum jelly. only natural treatments is best.

You should not use oil based lubricants as they can promote bacterial growth in the anal/rectal region. Use water based gels such as KY.  add a comment

If all over the counter measures have not helped to relieve the pressure and pain associated with hemorrhoids you should contact a protologist for an appointment and to make sure they are not prolapsed. Surgery may be your only options.
