You could try to ice your head if you have a bruise to minimize swelling. If you feel like you have a concussion, go to the doctor.

If you were punched in the head call the police and file a report. Then go to the emergency room so that you can get an x-ray to make sure that everything is ok.

Put an ice pack on it or something cold from the freezer. Depending on how severe it is, you should be able to decide if you need medical attention or not.

For swelling in the head put an ice pack or a bag of frozen vegetables to affected area to keep the swelling down.
