The dog can have seasonal type allergies which are common in humans and that could cause this and so keeping the house free of allergens might help take care of the problem.

Dogs can have sneezing attacks if something is stuck in their nose -- grass and foxtail weeds are common. They will sneeze and contort their face in an attempt to get it out. If the sneezing does not resolve, take your dog to a vet.

If your dog is sneezing and hacking a lot, you should get them to the vet because it could be kennel cough. If it is a random occurrence though, it could just be an irritation to something they smelled or ate, just let it pass.

The most important and first thing I would do would be to take it to the vet. See what the vet says and then just do it. The vet may give it medicine or they may find that the dog is allergic to something. Either way taking the dog to the vet is a good idea.

It may be allergies, you can give 25 mg of benadryl twice a day. Also the hacking could be from a condition known as tracheobronchitis (kennel cough), which is usually passed around in kennels, doggie day cares, etc. Your vet can perscribe an antibiotic.

That depends on what the problem is. Are there any other symptoms? Has this started recently? Have you taken the dog to the vet? Sounds like the dog has a cold so the options are to let him/her get over it on it's own or take it to the vet.
