The only thing I can suggest to you is for you to take your dog to a veterinarian who will be able to suggest things to do for your dog's condition to improve... He'll be able to give you the right medicine your dog might need to take or whatever your dog might need.

Viral infections, bacterial infections, and allergens can cause sinus congestion. If it is a viral infection, then comfort measures can be taken. A bacterial infection requires antibiotics in addition to comfort measures. If it is due to allergies, such as dust or pollen, then keeping the house as clean and dust-free as possible can help reduce sinus congestion.

Your dog has probably contracted a cold from being at the dog park or boarded. These colds can be prevented with yearly vaccinations. Another possibility is that your dog has allergies. This may mean eliminating or changing different things your dog is exposed to. The only way to know for sure is to take your dog to the vet.

Believe it or not you can give a dog benadryl. It depends on the weight of you're dog how much you should give. But generally if the dog is over 10lbs one pill is ok. Anything over 100lbs I would give one at first wait an hour to see if it helps, if not give another.

Sneezing and congestion can be attributed to anything as simple as an allergy or cold to something as severe as canine distemper or kennel cough. A veterinarian will give you an accurate diagnosis.

You will need to take your dog to the vet for a thorough exam. The vet will most likely perscribe a round of antibiotics for your dog to clear up any infections. It may also be allergies in which case you will also need a perscription from your local vet
