Drink some warm water, take 1000 mg parcetamol tablets and take a nap in a quiet place to relieve the headache. Avoid smoking or working on computers, watching tv or reading books until you have recovered from the ailment

I would take some tylenol and go and lay down in a dark room with no noise. Breaking the cycle of a headache is usually the first step! If the headache continues for more than 36-48hrs I would consult my Doctor for more suggestions. I find that if I either put my hair up or down it helps as well!

If we have headache on the back of our heads we can first of all take a painkiller and then find out if the pillow we use is not too hard. If it seems OK we can gently massage our head for sometime. If this does not help then we should visit a doctor for getting ourselves diagnosed.

Either take medication such as advil or massage the area in the back of your head gently with the tips of your fingertips for a good five minutes continuously.

A lot of times a headache in the back of head comes from stress. You may get relief by wrapping an ice bag, such as a pack of frozen vegetables, around neck.

If your headache feels as if it comes from the back of your head, lie down and take a few Tylenols or Advils. DO NOT try to walk around, because you will feel nausea. This is not a migraine, it is merely a headache. Ice may also help, depending on whether or not the headache involves heat or not.

I would just massage the back of your skull a little bit, if you can find them there are pressure points that will releave the pain.
