You can take your car into a welding shop. If your frame is cracked or bent in any place, they will be able to weld it back together or straighten it out. If the damage is to a component underneith, you will need to replace the component that has been damaged, i.e. catalytic converter or muffler.

Depends on what is damamged? if its just scrapes you can cover them with under coating to prevent further rust, if something is bent or broken you need to repair.

Depends on the severity of the damage. For dents, just hammer it out from the interior. For rust, have a professional look at it to determine if it's repairable.

I will find the car body shop through word of mouth or go to a new car dealer's body shop.

The best thing you can do is find someone that is good with straightening and welding the frames on cars. They would be able to straighten it out and if something is broken they will be able to weld it. They can also put plates in and reinforce the rails that way.

"Undercarriage damage" can mean a lot of things from a cracked air-dam to a broken swing arm. Sheet metal damage is not as serious as drive-train damage. If the damage is severe then you should take it to a frame repair specialist. If it's only light damage and you have experience with collision repair then maybe give it a shot.
