Since you didn't specify, I going to asume that you mean outside the house. There are many different insectides that you could purchase from your local hardware store, but there is a more natural way that is much more enviromentally friendly. Guinea Hens! Known as the framer's friend eat many different types of insects including spiders.

The surest way to get rid of spiders is to call a professional exterminator but there are less costly (and toxic) ways to do the job. A cat will help control spiders (by eating them). Lemon oil (or lemon furniture polish) is an effective spider repellent which is best applied following a thorough cleaning.

The best thing to do, is to get a strong insecticide and spray around any openings where they could get into your home. Also be sure to spray around areas where they would be able to access any sort of water supply.

Well when you see a spider's web use a broom or something long to knock the webs down. You can also buy insect spray and apply it around your home where the spiders seem to be the most abundant. Also you might want to call a professional out if the problems persists.

If you have spiders all around your home you should go to your local home depot and get some spider killer to get rid of them as soon as possible.

There are several sprays available at retail stores that are effective but if you are like me, you don't want chemicals in your home. One easy solution is to add half a cup of citronella oil to a spray bottle with water and spray around your house. Be sure to get in the corners and around windows and doors.
