Clingy may mean she doesn't feel like she is getting enough quality time with you. Try making a big deal about a date-night that's all about her, spend the time doing whatever she likes, and pay lots of attention to her, let her know you want to do this regularly.

If this is her personality, than there isn't much you can do about it. You can tell her that you do not like this type of behaviour, but in the end, she might just be being herself, and in the end, there is nothing you can do about it at all.

Let her know that you need a little more space. Then let her calls go and create space so she can get the hint.
