Many things can cause a dog to have an upset stomach. The most common is if your dog eats something they are not used to.

Dogs can get stomach viruses and this can cause problems. Also, an abrupt change in food can upset a dog's stomach. This could be a change of brands or in the percentages of protein, fiber or fat. Feeding a diet of white rice and a little chicken should help.

In-digestion, dehydration, eating more sugar stuffs leads in upsetting dog stomach. When you leave dogs outside, make sure he doesn't eat any plants which is harmful.
