My local unemployment agency would accept applications for jobs looking for people. They look at your skills and refer you to a job.

They will write you a resume and keep a copy in their files, they also have a data base they pull from to match you with any jobs they may apply to you, they will set up appointments for job interviews when they become available saving you time and energy.

Are you looking at a state agency or private. Both can help with finding jobs, but if you register through the state, you may be eligible for financial benefits until you are hired. Most agencies can also help with training to prepare you.

An employment agency can help place you with a job that is a good match for you. They can also help you with your resume or job skills. Employment agencies may have temporary jobs or can place you in a permanent job.
