What are typical diseases of the weimaraner dog?

Their are 4 diseases that i have found in the weimaraner. Hyper inflammatory disease which causes pain and lameness. Antibody immune deficiency which causes low immunogloblin levels affecting the bowls,skin and central nervous system. Steroid responsive meningitis which presents with fever, neck and or back pain. Hypertrophic osteodystrophy which does have a vaccination program.

Weimaraner dogs are very prone to a life threatening digestive syndrome called bloat. Other typical diseases the Weimaraner dogs could have would be joint and bone problems, eye diseases, bleeding disorders, and cancer. They could also have hip dysplasia. Tumors and hernia's are likely with this dog also.

Cancer is one of the most common afflictions of Weimaraners, though this is not unique to the breed. They are also prone to hip dysplasia and acute bloat.

Weimaraner's being a medium sized dogs are no more prone to any particular disease than any other breed. Weimaraner's do tend to have more hip problems being a bigger breed.
