With all the news about the new Toy Story Three I would say that's what you are talking about. Two of the toys are Mr potato head and Barbie.

Two story toys are life like figurines or human sized. For example in the movie Avatar and The Exterminators, two story toys was used to portray the actors or characters. A special mold called a 3D-printer is used. Resin is poured into the printer and set to form these life-like figures.
