It may be the flush valve needs adjusting or you may have air or vibration problems with your water lines.

This is normal. What you are likely hearing is the water being recycled back into the bowl and whatever waste disposed is being sucked into the sewer system. Don't worry too much about the sounds, what you should worry about is if the system clogs and floods your bathroom.

Most of the time what you hear is a leak in the flush master (the part with the float on it). When this isn't sealing or working right, it can cause several different tpes of noises. Take off the tank lead and listen when you flush. If that's the source of the noice, then you need to replace it.

Sometimes if your toilet is clogged, it will make glubbing sounds and splash water when you flush the bowl. You probably need to buy clog remover or call a plumber.

Often these are the noises of clogged jets in the bowl. Calcium which occurs naturally in water builds up on these and will make them sound louder with use. It is possible to clean each jet of the bowl with a pipe cleaning brush and a calcium remover like CLR.
