A big statistic is the amount of sex the couple still has. More sexually active couples stay together a lot more often then less intimate partners. Another major statistic is if one of the partners was previously married. Someone who was divorced before, is more likely to divorce again.

Statistically, people that accept that their spouse is imperfect and flawed tend to last longer. YOu just always have to remember that neither one of you is perfect.
