The signs of alcohol poisoning are slowed heart rate and breathing, unconciousness, vomiting and loss of motor control. The only way to know before hand if this will occur is monitoring the amount of alcohol consumed over a certain period of time. Alcohol poisoning can occur with relative quickness when binge drinking is a factor.

Critical signs include confusion or stupor, vomiting, seizures, slow or irregular breathing, hypothermia, and paleness or bluish skin color. Don't want for all symptoms to be present before getting help.

The most immediate sign is vomitting followed by passing out to the point that the person cannot be awakened. Soon after, vital signs will slow.

There are many signs of alcohol poisoining, some of which are extreme vomiting (especially if there is blood involved), passing out, being completely disorientated, extreme fever and sweating. If these signs are being exhibited, it's crucial that the person goes directly to the emergency room, as you can die from alcohol poisoning.
