They go out of their way for you, give up things they enjoy to be with you and make an effort to make you happy. They will put you before others and make you first in their lives.

You need to look at not only what they say, but how they act. Do they think about you? Are they considerate of your feelings? Do they seem to enjoy spending time with you doing nothing? If the answers to these questions is yes, then it is probably love.
