Your doctor and your pharmacist should have discussed possible side effects. Most patients have one, but some experience itching at the site of application. More serious side effects and reactions are quite rare. Review the printed information that came with the medication.

Seek emergency medical assistance if you have difficulty breathing, hives, swelling of your face, lips tongue or throat may be a allergic reaction and can be life threatening. Contact your doctor if you experience burning, redness, stinging or swelling in the treated area. Possible and less serious side effects include tingling or itching in the treated area.

Thanks for your info. I had the exact swelling of lips and tongue you spoke of, and hypercare was the only change I had made. The tingling and stinging, I can stand, but not the swollen tongue! I love my new lips tho!!!  add a comment

My skin tingled and burned right after solution dried, but seized very soon, so it was tolerable. However, my lips swelled (looked good!), but my tongue was so swollen, wide and thick, it took up all the room in my mouth.

Be very careful to use hypercare exactly as directed. Don't use more of it than the doctor says. Some people get itchy or tingly feelings after using hypercare. If you have an allergic reaction, talk to your doctor.
