Like any other surgery recovery issues, pain is expected naturally during the healing process and eventually would turn in itchiness. Given the sensitivity of the part being operated, it would be swollen more than its original size and drastic movement could result to pain and should be avoided. The need for supportive underwear should be taken into consideration.

Most commonly mild to moderate pain around the incision site, which is due to muscles and other soft tissue having been cut. After a couple of days, the pain should dramatically lessen, as the healing proceeds. Itchiness around the incision site can be expected as a response to healing.
