What are the pros and cons of the rat terrier breed?

Rat terriers have a great temperament. They are friendly dogs that get along with families as well as other dogs. On the other hand, if rat terriers are not given the attention and stimulation needed, they will not be very agreeable dogs and may act out on their owners by chewing furniture or going to the bathroom inside.

It is hard to think of any cons, maybe apart from the fact that they are not very 'brave'. Thunder, fireworks, unexpected movements, unknown other dogs: most Rat Terriers can get easily scared. Apart from that there are only pros: they are very clever, behave very well, are good with almost everyone and are very sweet and attentive.

This one I forgot .Sorry1 A woman who use to breed and raise them said their hair is really hard to vacuum up because it sticks easily to carpets, couches et cetera because it is really short?

I hear these unfortunate negatives about rat terriers? We'd like the truth please or will look at other breeds. Thankyou! 1 Very hard to train? 2 Very stubborn at times? 2 Dig alot? 3 Nip allot at people? 4 Style A tall body legs break easily?
