What are the pros and cons of genetically modified foods?

The pros is that they can be modified for crops to yeild more and be more fresher and different colors. They can also change the nutrient and vitamin level or content. The cons are they can cause allergies in some people and cause new diseases to develop.

Some well known of each are: that it will taste better, grow faster, possibly cost less & have potential health risks associated with them and adverse effects like allergies. Though when one looks closer or learns about GM foods, there are more things one needs to consider like budget, crop yields, plant sensitivity, enviromental conditions, shelf life, taste... etc.

The pros of genetically modified foods are more bigger compared to natural. It has more and better nutritional value and no need to put pesticides. The cons is it can cause illness and problems.
