What are the problems with teacup breeds?

Other than the fact that they're tiny, I mean.

They aren't meant to be this small so they do incur a lot of problems. Often times they have breathing problems, usually within the first year. Teacups also have a greater chance of getting hurt on accident because of their size.

Problems are going to vary with breed. However, dental issues, luxating patellas and some heart conditions are common in a number of small dogs. Contact your veterinarian for further information.
