For girls i would say one of the most popular toys of all times would be the Barbie doll and all of her accesories, houses, cars, etc. Barbie has been around for years and they keep coming up with new dolls. Other than Barbie, legos is another of the most popular toys of all times.

Slinky, Hula Hoop's of course, and in no particular order Raggedy Ann Dolls, G.I. Joe, Play-Doh, Lego, Barbie, Magic 8 Ball, Crayola crayons, Yo-yos, Etch-A-Sketch, Lite Bright, Frisbee, Magic 8 Ball, Monopoly, Easy Bake Oven, View-Master, Candy Land, Mr. Potato Head, Hot Wheels, Rubik's Cube, Twister, Silly Putty, Game Boy, and my favorite, one of the first video games PONG!
