The largest US lakes are, in order: Lake Michigan; the Great Salt Lake (Utah); Iliamna Lake (Alaska); Lake Oahe (manmade; North and South Dakota); and Lake Okeechobee (Florida)

The Great Lakes, which include Lake Ontario, Lake Michigan, Lake Huron, Lake Erie, and Lake Superior are the largest in the United States, and also consider the Great Salt Lake in Utah. There are many other smaller lakes in the US but none are nearly the size of the aforementioned lakes.
