The early signs of pregnancy are unfortunately very similar to the signs of your period arriving. You may have tender or sore breasts, may be more tired than usual. As you go further into the pregnancy you may have morning sickness.

The first sign of pregnancy is the absence of your monthly period. Another good early sign of pregnancy is morning sickness, feeling nauseous and sick to your stomach, especially in the morning. Many women also feel very tired in the first stages of their pregnancy.

Early signs depend on the woman and are very easy to confuse with menstral symptoms. Some women will cramp or begin to feel sick to their stomachs. Breast tenderness is common as well as a need to fee more frequently. Some women also experience changes in vaginal discharge or basal temperature.

Even if the pregnancy test is negative, you could still be pregnant. Some early signs can be tenderness of the breasts and more frequent urination. You may also feel cramping similar to mild menstrual cramps as the uterus begins to grow. Some women experience nausea (morning sickness) very early as well.
