A Human Resource Manager can have a variety of duties, including management of human resources staff, overseeing heatlh care benefits in the company, intervention with staff conflicts, annual reviews and hiring for the company. They are also responsible for placing ads for job vacancies and interviews/recommendations of new staff. That can also entail background checks for applicants.
They make sure all laws pertaining to hiring and promoting fairly are followed. They will make sure the appropriate training is given to all employees.
