What are the different types of daisies?

Or is there only one type, and they're just different colors?

Daisies are in the family Asteraceae, which include daisies, sunflowers and asters. There are over 2,000 species in North America, such as: African, Barberton, Blue, Butter, Crown, Dahlberg, Gerbera, Giant, Gloriosa, Kingfisher, Lazy, Livingstone, Michaelmas, Nippon Oxeye, Oxeye, Painted, Paris, Prairie, Shasta, Spanish, Sunshine, Swan River, Tahoka and Tatarian.

There are several different types of daisies. There are daisy mums and gerber daisies which are two totally different types of flowers. Mums usually have more than one bloom on a branch whereas gerber daisies usually have one big bloom.
