If you are looking for an affordable to car to purchase, and also want one that offers great reliability you should consider a Honda Civic. Not only is the purchase price attractive, with the great gas mileage they get the cost to operate is reasonable as well.

Through my experiences with vehicles, the cheapest reliable cars are Hyundai's, and Honda's. ALthough toyota may be a little more costly, they are worth the extra buck they last forever.

Keep in mind a cheaply built new car may not outlast a properly maintain used car. The current cheapest 2010 model is the Hyundai Accent Blue which retail for $10,690. The second cheapest car is the Nissan Versa 1.6 starting at only $10,710. Third cheapest is the Kia Rio Base Sedan with a prices starting at $12,390.
