Squirtle is a turtle which has two evolutions after its original form. Its shell gives it a higher defense. Its main attacks are water based along with a few other basic attacks such as scratch. The special ability it has in later games is Torrent which makes its water attacks stronger if its health drops enough.

Squirtle is water based pokemon. It may be a little weak at first but it has the potential to evolve and become much more powerful. It starts out with a scratch and a water-gun attack as a squirtle, but when it makes the evolution from squirtle to wartortle then to blastoise it can to devastating attacks such as bubble beam.
