Not very good. If you have six numbers to choose, you have something like a one chance in over a million that you're going to win.

It depends on what type of lottery. For state lotteries, especially the biggest, your odds are in the millions and millions to one. So, you are more likely to be struck by lightning than winning one of those. However, scratch off tickets are better, but still a ripoff. The odds are on the backs of tickets.

It would depend on what type you're playing. The less amount of balls involved, the greater chance of winning. You have a greater chance of getting struck by lightening.
