You have the same chance with random numbers as you would have if you chose your own numbers. The odds do not change by picking your own.

It depends how often you play. If you play once every few months then any method will give you the same chances. If you play regularly then stay with one set of numbers. Chances go up each time you play the same numbers since the last set was different.
