They are slim because when you are on menopause that is pretty much the end of your ovulation cycle. Though it would be best to talk to your doctor.

As long as you have a period, you can get pregnant. The chances of getting pregnant during menopause are slim, however possible.

Unless you have been period-free for at least 12 months, there is still a slight possibility that a woman could become pregnant. Irregular periods mean that you could still be ovulating. An appropriate form of birth control should be used during this time.

The chance is much lower than when you are going through menstration. Yet there is still a chance especially when you are transitioning into menopause because your body has to get used to what is happening.

The chances are small but not impossible. Your chance of getting pregnant decreases, because you are often ovulating less, and your eggs are less viable.
