Semi-gloss paint has a shiny surface, but it is not as reflective as gloss paint. Some good uses for semi-glass paint include doors, trim, woodwork, and windows. Semi-gloss paint is easy to keep clean, so it is a good choice for kid's rooms, recreation rooms, hallways or anywhere that there will be alot of traffic and fingerprints.

Semi gloss paints refects the light in a small space. If the paint is dark in color then the semi gloss paint color will help hide the inperfections on the wall.

Semi gloss is great for where you want a finish to show some gloss while still able to see the flat paint color. Common uses are interior walls and ceilings.
