You do not need a special jar in which to make sun tea. Use a quart size canning jar, which you can obtain inexpensively. Put about 4 teabags in, and add water. Set in the sun for several hours, and add sugar and lemon to taste.

You can use a regular pitcher. It does not need to be see through contrary to popular belief. I would not recommend buying the ones you see often.

Go for a jar that is plastic (easy to carry) and one with a spout at the side near the bottom. Target has some wonderful ones for cheap.

Save yourself some money. Sun tea can be make in any glass jar or pitcher. Make sure you clean the jar or pitcher out well. Place it in a sunny and it will do its job.
