What are the best lakes to visit in Southern California?

Visit any of the great lakes. Lake tahoe is pretty good why don't you go down there and drive down the highway 101.

Last year, I visited my friend's cottage on Sierra-Nevada lake. Awesome for water skiing and fishing, but the water was really chilly-even during the summer!

Lake Piru in Fillmore is gorgeous and secluded. Not crowded but difficult to get to. Hikers find it no problem though. Less secluded but very popular is Lake Arrowhead.

Lake Isabella is great in the summer or spring time. Mammoth Lakes are also wonderful anytime of year, there are several and many of them freeze completely in the winter.

there are lots of lakes in southern California but the best of them are castaic lake,green vally lake,havasu lake,salten sea,Sutherland lake,hemet lake,pyramid lake,Dixon lake,piru lake,silver wood lake are few of the lake which are awesome place to visit.
