How do I plant a Sago Palm in Southern California?

I live in Southern California, so I believe the plant will do well here. How do I ensure that my new plant is properly cared for?

This is a very hearty breed that requires little attention. Plant about 6-8" deep in a fairly dry area with little exposure to runoff water.

You can plant Sago Palms in the sun or the shade and in your area, the best time to plant Sago would be from March to November.
