Generally, home electronics, books, and other "garage sale" items go pretty quick, but they'll need to be of good quality and in good shape. Don't expect your random junk to sell on EBay, there are far too many power sellers who can outprice you in quantity and number of auctions.

One of the best items that you can sell on E-Bay are tickets to sports playoff games. If you can get tickets to the superbowl, the MLB world series, or the NBA finals and resell them you can make a lot of easy money fast. Also, come playoff time a lot of teams offer passcodes that you can sell.

Electronics that have reasonable prices are really good. You should also look around the house if you have things you don't use or old books, anything can be sold.
