Import/export stores are the best way to go. Places like CostPlus or Pier1 are good sources for finding decorative items from around the world. Depending on where you live, you may have a local "little Mexico" or could even take a vacation to the real thing!

I think buying authentic Mexican items are easier to find online. Places even like eBay or an authentic store in your area. Online would be the most affordable plus you can spend more time choosing what you would like.

If you live in a border state, chances are one of your major cities has a "little Mexico" area where you can find many authentic mexican items and probably at good deals. Otherwise, you can shop at online stores that sell Mexican imports.

A local and good place to purchase Mexican items is in town Portland. There are some Mexicans that own and operate this little Mexican store.
