Alternatives to chemotherapy are few and far between, especially effective ones. Therefore, there is no "best" alternative. While chemo is considered "big guns" in a fight against cancer, there aren't a lot of other options that are tried and true.

Chemotherapy is itself a dangerous treatment. It can cause hair loss, skin cancers, and others too if done excessively. Alternatives like herbal treatment, yoga, and acupuncture can be used besides chemotherapy.
