For the most part it is that the faux stone is much cheaper than real stone. It is also alot less heavy and much easier to work with.

The benefits is that with the faux stone you get ease of care and cleaning but the look of stone. The application is much easier than with real stone also. The beauty of stone without the hassle.

You only get so much return out of a basement so keeping the cost down is a must like faux stone. It is a lighter material so it's cheaper in cost and in weight. The lighter faux stone is easier to work with and to get to hold in place.

Faux stone will give your basement a decorated rich appeal to it. Also, the floor would match anything and it would not get damaged if it were to get wet.

Well, one thing is that it would be easier to keep clean. An other is that if you were to drop something on it, it would not break from the fall.
