One benefit of internet banking is no waiting in a long-line on a busy Friday. Also being able to do it from your home and be in your pajamas.

You can access your account at any time. You can also access it from anywhere you can connect to the internet. But no reason to not do both?

Internet banking allows you to manage your money at all times of the day and night, which I have found handy on occasion. Most face-to-face banks today also have a webpage which offers internet banking functionality anyway, giving you the best of both worlds. Also, with an internet bank, you can access your money anywhere on the planet.
