Inerrancy of Scripture, a triune God, man's sinful nature, salvation only through faith in Jesus, baptism by immersion, second coming of Jesus, judgment leading to heaven or hell for eternity.

Southern Baptists believe in the trinity. The Bible, though written by man, is God's personal revelation to the world; therefore all scripture is true. Irrevocable salvation is available to anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Baptism (by full immersion in water) and the Lord's Supper are symbolic acts of obedience to God's word and instruction.

The bible was written by men and God revealed himself to men so they could write it. There is only one God. Jesus is his son.

They believe the Bible to be 100% accurate and the Word of God. They believe in baptism by immersion, grace, the message of the Cross and the Plan of Salvation. They do not endorse drinking alcohol or smoking cigarettes, though this isn't strictly enforced in most churches. They are usually youth oriented and promote bible studying.

That the bible is God's word to humanity. He (GOD) wants to take away our sins and give us His life through the actions of Christ on the cross and the presense of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

Jesus is the Son of God. He was born of a virgin, crucified, and resurrected. He is Lord. Personal salvation and forgiveness can be attained through belief in Him.
